Skiing in Garhwal Himalayas - For adventure seekers visiting India, Auli presents a memorable winter sport and holidays experience. The snow-clapped peaks around Auli are ideal for indulging in snow skiing, snow boarding and snow expedition and a holiday in the Auli ski slopes could be any skier's delight. To cater to visitors , Auli has now become a self-sufficient township, connected with other important center in the state. Auli, it has been easily adapted for families with children who may be to try on their skies yet. They enjoy the cable car rides and rope lifts, or spend the day outdoors building snowmen , or having snowfall fights ! The day so spent , the evening bring the excitement of warmth around fires, with a shared camaraderie. And the promise – should you wake early – of seeing the sun rise over the high snow -  capped peaks , tingeing them  a rosy pink than soon dissolves to a molten gold, before turning a dazzling white.       Skiing Courses at Auli & Manali :

Qualified skiing instructors run these classes and have been trained in modern skiing techniques. These 4 days / 7 days / 10 days courses are specially designed for beginners. All courses are run from January through March.

Best Season: January to April Winter Wear the best way to keep warm while skiing is to dress in layers. You will be most comfortable with three warm layers, rather than in one huge woolen monster of a sweater. Many of the modern synthetic fabrics like fleece are amazingly warm and lightweight, well worth the expense.

Auli Altitude  :- 1915  to 3049 meters. Area :-  5 sq km. Season :- January to March. Temperature : Summer : 13º C  to   29º C  ; Winter : 9º C to 2º C.

Packages tours : We offer packages skiing and snowboarding tours in Indian Himalayas (Auli & Manali), we have deign the perfect skiing courses as well as for beginners and trainers.

Enrolment : To enroll in the skiing , snow boarding  courses and packages , participants send an application from along with 50% of the fees to the ………………………….thru directly or by DD. The balance 50% of the packages or skiing course fee would have to be deposited at the time of Joining the course. 

Cancellations :  100% Refund : on cancellations made between 45 to 30 days  before the arrival,75 % Refund : on cancellations made between    20 to 29  days  before the arrival 50 % Refund : on cancellations made between    10  to 19  days before the arrival,25% Refund : on cancellations made between      5 to 9  days  before the arrival. Refund will be made after producing original cash receipt and cancellation charges will be applicable on the full amount of the ticket. For example if tourist pay 50% advance and cancels his seats then advance cancellation charges would calculated on full ticket fare.    No refund will be made in the eventuality of the tour being cancelled / re-scheduled due to natural calamities, beyond the control of management.

Day 1 : Rishikesh : Joshimath :  Drive  -  8 / 9 hrs : Lunch enroute. Morning after Breakfast drive to Joshimath. The entire drive is along the Alaknanda river till we reach Joshimath. Enroute stop at Devprayag,Rudraprayag, Karanprayag and Nandaprayag, the most famous confluences of Garhwal Himalayas. Arrive Joshimath and transfer to Hotel. Dinner & Over night hotel. 

Rishikesh : Known as Gate way of Garhwal Himalayas, Sanctuary of Saints and Sages. Rishikesh situated on the bank of Ganga surrounded on three sides by Himalayan ramges, known from medieval time as celestial abode, is a great pilgrimage center of India, attracting a large number of pilgrims . Ideal adventure sports for River Rafting , angling, parasailing, wild life etc..

Joshimath : Joshimath lays on the slopes of the mountains above the rivers Alknanda and Dhauliganga and has many important temples, inclusive the temple of Ugra Narshima, which is dedicated to the half human/half lion incarnation of the God Vishnu.Adi Guru Shankaracharya, who came from Kerala (south of India) arrived in the 8th century,gave all world luxury, became a vegetarian and meditated under a tree untill he was enlighted. Then he started a MATH (meditation place/ temple), named “Jyotirmath” ('jyoti' means light). The name Joshimath comes from it.The temples of Narsingh, dedicated to Vishnu in his lion form and Nav Durga are situated here.It is one of the four ‘maths’ established by Adi Guru Shankaracharya.With its bracing climate, magnificent scenery and religious significance, Joshimath is fast becoming a hill resort.

Day 2 : Joshimath – Auli  :  Ride Ropeway 22 Minutes : After Breakfast we took a ride by India Highest & Longest Ropeway (Cable car)  up to Skiing slopes. Enjoy ski packages in Shadow of Mt. Nanda Devi. Lunch and return back to Joshimath by cable car to Joshimath. O/N - Hotel JoshimathAuli :  An idle holiday and ski resort in the Garhwal Himalayas with its slopes comparable to the best in the world. Perched at an elevation 2500 – 3050 mts. Also also known  as  a skier’s paradise, Auli has one of the best slopes in the world. The 3km long slope ranges  from  2519 m to 3049 m offers a magnificent panoramic view of great Himalayan peaks like the  Nanda Devi (7817m), Kamet (7756m), Mana Parvat (7273m)  and Dunagiri (7066m). You could reach Auli  from  Joshimath (1890m)  by  taking an enchanting 3 km ride on the world’s most highly situated and longest ropeway (cable car). Auli not only offers a magnificent view of the Himalayasn ranges but is a delight for winter sports enthusiasts. Day 3 :  Joshimath - Rishikesh : After Enjoying Package trips or Skiing courses trace your step back to  Rishikesh (The Gateway Of Garhwal Himalayas) :  One can Encounter River Rafting on Ganges , as best and cheap cost : Tour terminate at arrival at Rishikesh.

Day 5 : Trace your step back to Rishikesh, a long ride 8 / 9 Hrs to Rishikesh, encounter Yoga or meditate at Himalayan Retreat on Ganges, or took some memory while Rafting or Kayaking on Holy Ganges. Tour terminate on arrival at Rishikesh.
