For this trek one need to be in fit in health fitness and be experienced trekker, you are requested to apply at least one and a half months in advance, so that necessary permissions and clearances can be obtained from the govt. authorities. A special tariff applies to this trek. The trek falls in inner line , so permit and permission is compulsory for everyone.
Day 1 : Rishikesh - Joshimath. Drive 8 /9 Hrs . O/N - Hotel.
JOSHIIMATH: Adi Guru Shankaracharya, who came all the way from Kerela in the 8th Centaury A.D, perform penance under a tree here and after getting enlightenment, established a Math (religious centre), known as "Joshimath". The name Joshimath is derived from it. Temple of Narsingh and Nav Durga are located here

2 : Joshimath - Badrinath - Vashudhara Drive 3 Hrs - Trek 3 hrs. O/N - Camp.
Drive 44 km to Badrinath( 3133 mt / duration 3 hours )and visit the holy shrine
of Badrinath
Further drive 3 km to Mana village and then trek 5 km to Vashudhara Falls,
waterfall have always captivated the human imagination. 5km from /mana village ,
towards the west is the Vashudhara fall with a sheer drop of 145m., set in a
background of snowy peaks, glacier and rockey heights. Violent wind sometimes
sprays out the entire volume of the water falling and it appears that the
waterfall ceases for a minute or two, giving rise to a lot of superstitious
ideas to the locals. overnight stay In camp.
Badrinath: one of the' Four Dhams. is one of the most celebrated pilgrimage spots of the country and is situated at an elevation of 3,133 meters, guarded on either side by the two mountain ranges known as Nar & Narayan with the towering Neelkanth Peak providing a splendid backdrop. This revered spot was once carpeted with wild berries. Thus the place got the name "Badri van", meaning "forest of berries". Overnight hotel.

3 : Vashudhara - Ghastoli Trek 5-6 Hrs. O/N - Camp.
Today after breakfast we trek through a dense forest, laxmi van. After crossing
a small stream we reach to our camp side Ghastoli ( 3796 mt) , over night in
camp.
Day
4 : Gastoli - Arwatal Trek 5-6 Hrs. O/N - Camp.
Today our Trek get more enterprising while we cross beautiful roaring stream
Arwa Nala. Till to reach Arwatal (3910 mt) , one have to cross a number of
streams through hazardous icy and snowy terrain.. Overnight stay in the camp.
Day
5 : Arwatal - Rajparav Trek 4 -5 Hrs . O/N - Camp.
Our trail commands today through moraine and boulder area . After crossing these
dramatic scene we reach near by a small meadow , covered with snowy in May and
June, further Trek to Rajparav (4910 mt) .spending some time to check the
Kalindi Pass (5947 mt ). Upper ridge. Overnight stay in the camp.
Day
6 : Rajparav - Kalandi Khal Base Trek 5 - 6 Hrs. O/N - Camp
Today we trek 10 Km to Kalindikhal Base, through Kalandi pass, the trail
commands with a huge Glacier point to be cross on this day (5500 mt). At least 1
Hrs glacier walk , further we proceed our step while crossing a lovely beautiful
spring near by Kalandi Pass, the full area is covered with snow till beginning
of July month. The magnificent view of Satopanth Kol , Kalandi Peak and many
unnamed peak reward this area unbeliever and unforgettable. Explore the area and
Overnight stay in the camp.

7 : Kalandi Khal Base - Khara Pathar Trek 4 -5 Hrs. O/N - Camp
The trail commands through moranine and bolder area in begning and later it
cross a a stream, one have to be very careful while to cross this stream. Steep
and tough trek across Suryala Glacier. further we trek 5 km to Khara Pathar
(5456 mt) 4-5 hours . Overnight stay in the camp.
Day
8 : Khara Pathar - Vasukital : Trek 3 - 4 HRS. O/ N - Camp.
From Khara Pathar our trek leads to Vasuki tal via a huge oak forest and later
crossing a green grassy meadow we reach to Vasukital (4898 MT) . The crystal
clear beautiful lake which is covered with all around lofty snow - clapped
peaks. We camp near by lake to enjoy the beauty of lake and lofty panoramic
Himalayan ranges. It is also the base of Satopanth peak and Mt. Vasuki Parvat
and black peak. The trek is ascend. Up to Vasuki tal.Overnight stay in camp.
Day
9 : Vasukital - Nandanvan Trek 4-5 Hrs . O/ N - Camp.
Trek to Nandanvan (4337 m) , the base of Bhagirathi peaks , Kharchakund and
other peaks across the Gangotri Galcier. Morning trek along descend to reach
Chaturangi Glacier (4680 MT), further we trek 3 km to Nandan van, a beautiful
camping ground. Overnight in camp.
Day
10 : Nandanvan - Bhojbasa Trek 4-5 Hrs : O/N - Camp
Today we trek down to Bhojbasa (3792 mt), via Gangotri glacier. Trek is full of
fascianating Himalayan sights and you can have beautiful views of snow clapped
peaks around We camp near by a temple and a potential camp side near by river.
Arrive and camp for overnight stay.
Day
11 : Bhojbasa - Gangotri Trek 6-7 Hrs O/N Camp.
Today our trek proceeds down to Gangotri (3090m) via Chirbasa . After leaving
Bhojbasa , the trail leads a hot and dust section on a warm day, but the trail
descend gradually the next few Kms Chirbasa following tree line, although
juniper bushes are scattered up the otherwise barren hillside. After Chirbasa
the last of the silve birches, which frame the Bhagirathi Range and the upper
section of Shivling (6543m). to the south , the peak Bhrigu Parbat (6041m)looms
high above the valley. Having a great view and enjoying the snow-capped peaks we
reach to our last step at Gangotri, the famous Hindu Pilgrimage center, one of
the four Dham of Hindu mythology. After evening tea visit the temple and
overnight stay in the Hotel / Tourist Banglow.
There is a beautiful Gorge at Bhairav Ghati over which there is a steel gurder
bridge. Gangotri is the place where the Goddess Ganga descended on Earth from
Heaven. There is a Temple of Goddess Ganga where thousands of devotees throng to
pay homage to Her..

12 : Gangotri - Uttarkashi
Drive to Uttarkashi (1150 mt) 95 km. Overnight at Shikhar Nature Resort
Early Morning after breakfast drive to Uttarakashi 99 kms , via Harsil, may make
a comfort stop at Gangnani hot springs known as Rishi Kund. Those who want can
have a quick refreshing bath in the pool / shower. O/N - Hotel / Camp.
Uttarkashi
is the principle town in the region. Nehru Institute of Mountaineering is
situated here. It is also the gateway to many mountaineering and trekking
expedition in Gangotri area.
Day
13 : Uttarkashi - Rishikesh
Drive 155 km to Rishikesh , overnight in hotel.
